The easiest and most correct answer is that the class deputy is the person who represents the interests of every student in the class. But it does not mean that this is a person who just “collects money”. The class deputy should be initiative, idealistic but pragmatic in his actions too. He should be also stable, unyielding, and a person you can count on. It is important that he must have interesting thinking, provocative sense of humor and no problem in communicating with the opposite sex. He must represent his class regularly in the actions of the School Parliament. Everybody likes him and respects his opinion. If this characteristic cannot be found in one person, the class must choose two deputies. They would be fantastic tandem in school and also after school. We are school with over 500 students and we could afford to have even three deputies in the School Parliament… The deputies could suggest initiatives, could present projects, deal with problems and everything in concern with the students. Class deputy’s main right is to fight for his class’s interests. His first and main obligation is to be present at the School Parliament sessions. The details about the process could be seen in the School Parliament Regulations. The most important thing for the Class deputies is to be of service of their class, so they must be carefully chosen.
